    Sunset Companion

    I wanted to take a photo of the last sunset of 2014 and at the same time take a moment to reminisce about the many happenings this year, but I happened to share my spot with a lone traveler and we ended up chatting and enjoying the sunset together. In the end we each took each others’ portrait and greeted each other a happy new year before parting ways. We did not exchange contacts, just hoping we would see each other again someday. For now he will be to me a friend who I shared a sunset with.

    An image I took while waiting in a street corner on a rainy day in Shanghai reminds me to always keep my eyes alert to the things that may not be obvious at first glance.
