Jacob Celebrates One Year at Pio’s Kitchen

Parties with all the programs, entertainment and frills are fun and all, but sometimes I get to cover celebrations that are simple yet meaningful. The kind that makes you go “Hey, I’d like to have a party like that too.” For Jacob’s first birthday, his parents opted for a simple celebration with an intimate crowd of close friends. An afternoon of good conversations and good food provided by Pio’s Kitchen in their cozy home convertible into a dining space. Everyone just spent their time chatting, laughing and eating. I guess the awesome paella had something to do with it. Yup, I definitely would like to have a party like that…

Love ones and family make the day with their presence in their beautiful dresses and suits. But the best thing about it is they all have their smiles ready for the union of two that met in a chance encounter years ago, and decided to never let go, it’s the kind of love story that we all dream about. Camera on Hand – Baguio, A Home for the Heart

Baguio has always been an escape for me, a place where I can forget about the seriousness of life and take things slow… really slow. What I enjoy most of the time is how I become more conscious of each moment during the days I spend there. Here are snapshots of a 2 day trip with my wife and a friend, either when were together or in times when I walk alone… I was surprised that the place were staying in is right beside Cafe by the Ruins, a huge serving of Champorado and Tuyo in this cool weather makes for a good first meal in this recent trip. We’ve…

    Turn Waiting Into Play

I joined my friend on a ministry outing to bring some kids to the zoo and the park, we plan to finish around 5pm and head home afterwards, but due to bus problems we were forced to wait. So we brought the kids back to the park, where they played and played, and they never seem to run out of energy. I love to observe these carefree moments. But what I love more is that although they know that we have a problem with our bus, they don’t seem to mind but instead make the most of the moment they’re in. What inconveniences are you in right now that you…

    Preview – Kaine and Katt

I can remember the cool breeze grazing by my arms as I move to position myself right before Katt makes her march, time seems to stop in moments like these. I take the shot, and as I walk fast to my next position, I see Kaine, with a huge smile plastered on his face, it’s so cute I laughed a bit while taking the picture. What followed was an intimate ceremony in the quaint garden of Ville Sommet, happy tears and laughter was all around. I thank God for making me an observer of a beautiful love story. Here are a few photos I’d like to share while I prepare…
