Family and Finance - A Family Ministry Event

Handling finance whether as a single, or in a family is such a basic need, but surprisingly a lot of us lack the knowledge of it, that is why most of the time the subject of money becomes a cause of tension in a marriage which in extreme cases leads to extreme debt and sometimes divorce. That is why working on this skill and learning from others are important steps in taking care of your family and your future.

CCF Family Ministry launched for the first time a talk combining the topics of Family and Finance to a crowd of 1000 attendees. This will be a yearly event that is geared towards couples to teach them how to properly handle money and other related topics, this year, speakers like financial education advocate Randell Tiongson talked about “Setting Goals for your Family”; Heinz and Ambie Bulos of Money Sense Magazine imparted their knowledge on “Discussing Finances as a Couple”; Edric Mendoza of ANC’s On The Money shared his journey with his son on the topic of “Teaching Your Kids about Money”; and Pastor Joby Soriano wrapped it all up by discussing about “The Biblical Perspective on Money”.

Events by the Family Ministry focus on the protection and improvement of the core unit of society which is the family, other symposiums like “Before I Do Workshop” prepares soon to be weds for marriage and “Counterflow” provides parents with insight on raising their children according to biblical principles.
