Black Rhino
When you hear the name Black Rhino, it somehow sets a bar on how bad-ass you expect it be, and it does not disappoint, even to a non-car guy like me! So while I don’t know a thing about spokes or lips or hubs, I do know good design when I see one, and these mags look mighty good. Even better when mounted on a ride.
People used to like shiny things, but that has since shifted when black matte came into the scene. Even if the whole mags is in black, the design makes good use of shadows and patterns that does not scream for attention but augments the overall look of the car it’s on.
One set did scream for attention. I call it Cherry Candy (they have a different name for it), I can imagine this on a city cruiser that wants to make a statement wherever it goes.
Over all, these mags exudes good taste, and I expect to see these more and more either in the city or in off-road scenes. Yes, off road, where it’s meant to be, toughing it out like the Black Rhino that it is.
