Engco and Jully Renewal of Vows – An Intimate Celebration
How are you? I sincerely hope you are coping well with what’s going on in this world. Personally I am trying to keep productive and work on as much things as I can, it keeps me distracted from all the news that will just cause me to worry. One thing I’ve been able to do much lately is to think, and I’ve been pondering about how the industry I’m in will recover from this crisis, and how it will be different from the way it was before.
Surely it will be a while before we see huge gatherings again, but I believe that somehow, somewhere, celebrations will still happen. Small scale celebrations with simpler setups, but maybe better food. I also imagine a smaller, tightly knit crowd of close family and very select friends. This reminded me of a simple event by a family that surprised their parents with a renewal of vows, followed by a simple celebration. Even in a small gathering, heartwarming moments are never in shortage.
Of course this is still far from what is allowed, but it’s nice to look at the potential of small gatherings in function rooms once the restrictions loosen up. How about you? How do you think celebrations should be done?

Oh, before you head on to the photos, I would just like to express my gratitude to those in the live events industry who are taking time to formulate a set of sensible, realistic work guidelines for the live events industry to present for the government to study. The new normal will need a new approach. Kindly pray for wise decisions to prevail.
