Living the Lime Life – Lime Hotel Boracay
It’s nice to have an assignment that forces me to switch modes from fast paced shooting to something that allows me to take things slow, so slow it felt like a vacation all through out. Such was the experience when I stayed in Lime Hotel in Boracay. Their welcome drink matches their color scheme. Found along Boracay Main Road near Regency Alley in Station 2, the place has a fairly modern but relaxing vibe. The rooms are spacious, most of them with balconies that reward you with sweeping views. The Sky Lounge unintentionally serves as an ante to the fabulous view you’ll see when you step out into the pool…

Camera on Hand – Baguio, A Home for the Heart
Baguio has always been an escape for me, a place where I can forget about the seriousness of life and take things slow… really slow. What I enjoy most of the time is how I become more conscious of each moment during the days I spend there. Here are snapshots of a 2 day trip with my wife and a friend, either when were together or in times when I walk alone… I was surprised that the place were staying in is right beside Cafe by the Ruins, a huge serving of Champorado and Tuyo in this cool weather makes for a good first meal in this recent trip. We’ve…

Randel and Lee – “In Your Presence”
“Love is being anywhere in the world as long as I am with you, because in your presence I am content.” I don’t know where I picked up that line, but I have been wishing that for myself and for my couples ever since, a relationship where they are content. I know these things are easier said than done, but tell me what is it that comes easy that is worth keeping nowadays? We travel to nearby Tagaytay Highlands for our first set where we took things slow and easy, allowing each to get the hang of being in front of the camera. With friends along, the atmosphere was light…

Turn Waiting Into Play
I joined my friend on a ministry outing to bring some kids to the zoo and the park, we plan to finish around 5pm and head home afterwards, but due to bus problems we were forced to wait. So we brought the kids back to the park, where they played and played, and they never seem to run out of energy. I love to observe these carefree moments. But what I love more is that although they know that we have a problem with our bus, they don’t seem to mind but instead make the most of the moment they’re in. What inconveniences are you in right now that you…

Davy and Valerie – Love that Moves
It’s a love story that sends the warmest fuzzies down my spine. Two friends whom we thought would make a good match actually became a good match, good is an understatement, great would be the right term. But while we made the match, it is them who made it work. Davy persistently asked for that first meet, and told Valerie he would only want 15 minutes of her time, it was all the time he needed to make that connection. After that Val had to go back to HK where she lived, to which Davy booked 3 round trip tickets to Hong Kong on the spot and that impressed her.…
