MORNING GROOVE

I had an out of Manila shoot a few weeks ago, but it was sched on my coding day because that was the only day available. So I thought, why not get there really early, and nap while I wait for my client. I got there early all right, but my body didn’t want to nap anymore. So I took a walk and explored the market.
Markets in the early mornings make for an interesting trip for an observer, much more for a photographer. The energy, smell, people, and light, truly wakes up your senses. A great way to start a day. With ample time to take pictures, and a little coffee afterwards, I head back to work.

Just in time my client messages me.
“Good morning! Kakagising ko lang!”

As I walk back, I make a mental note to look for what the Bible says about work. Later in the day I find this:
“Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
    who walk in obedience to him.
You will eat the fruit of your labor;
    blessings and prosperity will be yours.”
Psalm 128:1-2

Duly noted.
